This website was set up by Judi Ford of Ramblin Goldens to make the task of finding available Golden and Labrador Retriever Puppies, older puppies/dogs and Reputable Breeders quicker and much easier.  You no longer have to search the web and contact every Golden or Labrador Retriever Breeder to find out if they are reputable and if they have puppies/older puppies/dogs available.  All the guesswork is taken out for you and you are just a click away from finding the puppy/dog that is right for you!!

The first step is visiting our pages about Finding A Healthy Puppy and Things to Consider.  Please take the time to read these pages BEFORE checking out our Breeder Ads.  There is very valuable information packed into these two pages and is well worth the time it takes to read these articles.

Next, to the left you will find links to Available Puppies, Upcoming Litters, Other Breeds and Young Adults.   The process for adopting a puppy from one of the great breeders listed is quite simple, just peruse the listings on these pages and choose the breeder you would like to be referred to. 

Then, fill out the Puppy Buyer Questionnaire (link at the bottom of puppy photos page) and once I receive it, I will give you a call or an email to let you know that I received it and then I will forward it on to the breeder of your choice (indicate on questionnaire).  Once the breeder receives your questionnaire from me, they will then contact you as well to chat with you further about their puppies/dogs and to set up a time to view their puppies and arrange a deposit.  It's as easy as that!  You could be bringing home your new puppy sooner than you think!

Rest assured that I will only list puppies from breeders that I have had a good experience with, have met or know personally, and that raise their puppies in the same manner and with the same ethics that I do.  After all, my reputation is at stake.  If you have a problem with any of the breeders listed on this website, please let me know - after all, I only want to recommend reputable breeders on this website!

These breeders will only be able to be listed here if they are members in good standing with the CKC, provide health guarantees for their puppies and life-long support to puppy buyers.  They must also provide me with health clearances for, at the very least, hips, eyes and heart.  Elbows and thyroid are also encouraged and they must raise their puppies in their home to ensure they are well socialized.

In the litters listed on this website you can expect to find quality puppies from reputable breeders for anywhere between $800 - $1200 each depending on the breeder and their location.  There is a great deal to raising puppies the right way and it takes a lot of time and money and as in most cases, you get what you pay for!  If you find a Golden or Labrador Retriever Puppy for less than $800 beware, those breeders likely aren't doing the required health testing and are likely a large commercial breeder, backyard breeder or puppy mill.  Also, be prepared to place a deposit to hold your spot on a waiting list for an upcoming litter or to secure a puppy that is already born.  Since these breeders are very reputable, their puppies are in high demand and tend to go very quickly, so putting down your deposit will make sure you don't lose out on a great puppy!

Most reputable breeders will raise their puppies in their home so that they can spend lots of time with them and give them lots of love and attention to ensure the puppies are well socialized before going to their new homes.  They will also do as much testing on their breeding dogs as they can to ensure they are not passing on known health problems and may also start some basic training on the puppies.  This extra effort (and I mean a great deal of extra effort) by the breeders ensures the transition to your home is as easy for the puppy and for you as possible!!

At this time we have reputable breeders from all over Ontario!  I wouldn't have a problem buying a puppy from any one of the breeders listed on this site (I have actually bought from 2 of the breeders that have listed here) and my standards are pretty high, so I am comfortable with recommending them to you!

There is a great deal of time and effort spent by me researching breeders, contacting you and the breeder of your choice so please be sure you are ready to welcome a new puppy into your family before contacting me!
