Just as this page title proclaims, this page is dedicated to other dog breeds besides Goldens.
These breeders follow the same criteria as the Golden Breeders to list on this site. They all obtain appropriate health clearances on their breeding dogs before breeding them and raise their puppies in their homes. Most of these breeders I have met personally and some of them I have even visited. They are also all CKC registered purebred breeders in good standing with the CKC and either micro-chip or tattoo their puppies before leaving for their new homes.

This CKC-registered
breeder has been breeding, raising and training labrador retrievers since 2001.
Their small country kennel produces sound, healthy puppies with excellent
temperaments and trainability. Producing only 1-2 litters per year enables
this breeder to spend a lot of time with the litter, socializing them with
adults, children and other dogs. Adult dogs are house trained, crate
trained and obedience trained and all spend time both indoors and outdoors with
the family. Hip, elbow and eye clearances are obtained prior to selective
breeding. Although most puppies are purchased as companion animals,
several have gone on to compete in obedience and agility. This particular
litter is from championship lines and will fulfill the needs of show and field
enthusiasts as well. Adaptable to both urban and rural environments,
these puppies are typically easy to train and a welcome addition to any
